Changes in Public Transport during Riga Sports Day

“Rīgas satiksme” informs that due to “Riga Sports Day” events on the night of 17 September 2016 to 18 September 2016 there will be changes in public transport movement from 22:40 till the end of public transport movement for the night.

Buses

Route No. 1, 14, 40 buses in the direction from the centre will go on the route till Brivibas gatve, followed by Brivibas gatve, Bikernieku Street, S.Eizensteina (S.Eizenšteina) Street, Smerla Street, Brivibas gatve and further down the route. Buses in the direction to the centre will go on the route till Brivibas gatve, followed by Brivibas gatve, Ropazu Street, Brivibas gatve, and then further down the route.

Route No. 16 buses in the direction to the centre will go along the route to Bikernieku Street, followed by Bikernieku Street, Brivibas gatve and then further down the route.

Route No. 21buses in the direction from Imanta will go on the route till Brivibas gatve, followed by Brivibas gatve, Bikernieku Street, S.Eizensteina (S.Eizenšteina) Street, Malienas Street and then further down the route. The bus in the direction to Imanta will go on the route to Brivibas gatve, further down Brivibas gatve, Ropazu Street, Brivibas gatve and then further down the route.

Trolleybuses

Route No. 16 trolleybuses from Plavnieki will go on the route to Aizkraukles Street, followed by Aizkraukles Street to the stop “Slimnica Linezers” and back to Plavnieki. The route till Smerlis will be closed.

Route No. 14 and 17 trolleybuses in the direction to the centre will go on the route to Bikernieku Street, followed by Bikernieku Street, Brivibas gatve and then further down the route.

Additional runs from the city centre will be provided on the event night till 3:00 a.m. on the following routes:

Bus routes No. 3, 11, in a joined route of buses No. 12, 23 and 26 (go on Stone Bridge (Akmens tilts)), 18, 24, 25, 37, 40, 50, 51 and 53;
Trolleybus routes No. 9, 14, 15, 17, 18, 22, and 27;
Tram routes 4, 5, 6, 7, 10 and 11.
